Born and raised in Southern California, Chris was always outdoors, spending time with his family through Little League baseball teams or national-level tennis tournaments. His position in architecture is a combination of his life experiences and the teachings and pedagogy at architecture school. He believes architecture should be more than building, but instill experiences, emotions, and memories within people. Chris gets inspiration from OMA's Rem Koolhaas who breaks the paradigm of architecture to solve social and economic issues with his innovative thinking.
SHANNON OLMOS

A San Diego native who loves outdoor activities like camping, snowboarding, and scuba diving. Shannon loves to travel and pushes herself to visit a new place every year. Her love for architecture started at an early age when she was given her first Lego set, and the passion to design and create things grew from there. She believes the goal of any architecture project should be to develop spaces that evoke new experiences and emotions. Her favorite architect is Tadao Ando because he is able to design complex spatial experiences while maintaining the appearance of simplicity.
JONATHAN GONZALEZ
Jr. Designer
2017 Bachelor of Architecture, Woodbury University
Born in Los Angeles, raised in San Diego. Jonathan always liked creating things almost as if they came out of thin air. As if “making magic”. He has a great affinity to math, art, and science which manifested to playing with Legos and then into wood shop and metal shop as a teenager. His affinity expanded and grew to branch out into drafting, digital fabrication, sculpting, painting, and casting (clay and metal) throughout his years in college. Jonathan is inspired by Calatrava’s sculptural work of buildings and bridges, admires Barragan’s use of color and light, and is a firm believer of Gropius’ Bauhaus Manifesto. Together, they have turned Jonathan into a skilled artisan craftsman and designer. When not in the office, Jonathan is an avid practitioner in the martial arts and is even considered an amateur conjurer.
